Tara Spencer was born and raised in North Carolina, She graduated from Belmont Abbey College with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Her first office job was as an accountant for a small HVAC business. In the beginning it was just the owner and Tara. She worked there for 4 years and upon leaving, this company had grown to 20 employees and a government contract. After working nearly 20 years in Corporate America, Tara decided to go back to where she started and dedicate her time to helping small businesses grow. That is when she formed TLC Bookkeepers, LLC.
